There have been articles produced on the attention spans of youths today.
In this sense, I include myself here. I do identify with this.
. Here, I disagree with the statement in the first paragraph, Christine says,
“They find sitting down and reading, even watching TV, too slow and boring. I can’t imagine many kids indulging in one particular hobby, such as birdwatching, like they used to.”
I quite like bird watching thank you, and I relish (is that the right word??) my reading a good book in bed time.
It is a little funny that I was going to make this an unordered list, but on second thought after getting the url’s for that story, couldn’t be bothered doing another. Ahhh such a slacker. Make’s me think of the ‘documentary’ Slacker’s Uprisng tour by Michael Moore. It’s a derogatory term though…
